Mooshika.org - Welcome! Bienvenue!

In the Hindu religion, rats represent foresight and prudence, and white ones are very lucky. Mooshika is the name of the steed that Ganesh - god of new beginnings and of fire, knowledge, wisdom, literature and worldly success - rides upon. The steed, of course, is the intelligent and gentle rat. “Mooshika” means “little hoarder.”

2 Guinea Pigs in Montreal need a home!

A reader writes:

I am trying to find someone to take my two guinea pigs Penny (female) & Ling Ling (male).

I am a huge animal lover and had had guinea pigs when I was younger and was not aware when i rescued my two ( a co-worker had said that he was going to leave them on the side of the higway the begining of last November at the age of 4 weeks) that I am now horribly allergic to them (as is my husband)

Penny is the bed headed piggie and Ling Ling is the neater looking one - I have attached their photos as well as a pic of the big cage - i also have two smaller travel type cages - they come full equipped.

I appreciate any help I can get at this point - I would love to get them in a home.
