Mooshika.org - Welcome! Bienvenue!
In the Hindu religion, rats represent foresight and prudence, and white ones are very lucky. Mooshika is the name of the steed that Ganesh - god of new beginnings and of fire, knowledge, wisdom, literature and worldly success - rides upon. The steed, of course, is the intelligent and gentle rat. “Mooshika” means “little hoarder.”

Subject: petition to update animal cruelty laws
To:
Hello, my name is Shannon! If you haven't already heard, the Queen Waldorf
team in Ontario is circulating a petition to introduce government
legislation amending the Criminal Code provisions on animal cruelty based on
Bill C-373 and to recommend against Bill S-213. This petition is to honor
the 8-year-old shepherd-mix, now known as Queen, that was found riverside in
St. Catherines near a boat ramp with dumbbells tied around her neck,
weighing an estimated 7lbs.
More info can be found at www.queenwaldorf.com
The purpose of this e-mail is simply to ask if you would be willing to help
in the fight against animal cruelty by printing off a petition from the
website listed above and gather some signatures. Even one or two signatures
would help immensely!
The Queen Waldorf website provides a PDF document of the petition along with
an address as to where it can be mailed to once complete.
Your help is greatly appreciated, especially by the animals!
Thank you so much for your time!
Shannon Gault
